Later stadium hours like Irresponsible broaden the stories to suit fifty thousand people at once, leaning harder on frantic gestures and inflated stakes than on quiet storytelling.

He never fights for status on stage; the laugh always comes at the expense of his pride.

Coming up through Philadelphia comedy clubs taught him how to survive hostile rooms through pure work rate.
