What we do with your data

Short version: we collect what you give us, we don't sell it, and you can delete everything with one email.

What we collect

If you sign up, we store the email address and unique ID that come back from Firebase Authentication (our login provider), along with whether that email has been verified. If you subscribe to anything — the newsletter, featured posts, or individual comedians — we store that preference tied to your account.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. That's it.

Analytics

We don't run third-party analytics. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no pixel trackers. Our server keeps normal application logs (request paths, errors) for operational reasons; those are not used for behavioral tracking.

Sharing

We don't sell, rent, or share your email or account data with third parties. Firebase Authentication handles the login flow itself on Google's infrastructure.

Your controls

You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in every newsletter or from your account settings. If you want your account and its subscription preferences removed from our records entirely, reach out (see below).
