Showtime’s Full Frontal Comedy was built to let working stand-ups do the late-night sets that would never clear network censors. Hosted by Dom Irrera, who won a CableACE award for his work on the series, this 1995 episode packs four distinct performers into a tight half-hour. The format relies entirely on momentum. It simply throws comics onstage to deliver a few minutes of their hardest material before rotating out.

The lineup serves as a pure time capsule of mid-90s premium cable. A young Joe Rogan brings a hyperactive, physical energy to the stage, leaning into explicit material just as he was starting to find his footing on television. Sheryl Underwood, fresh off a multi-year winning streak at the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition, delivers a blunt perspective on sex and relationships. They are anchored by two seasoned club veterans: Blake Clark brings his gruff southern grievances, and Bobby Slayton operates as his usual cynical self, firing off complaints with zero interest in making himself likable.
