Andrew Bachelor—better known as King Bach—uses his debut stand-up special to dismantle his own hyperactive internet persona. On stage, he trades six-second Vine pacing for a slower, more deliberate style of storytelling, attempting to bridge the massive gap between digital content creation and traditional joke-telling. Directed by Jo Koy, the performance focuses on the bizarre reality of trying to find genuine romantic connections when your entire life is mediated by view counts and comment sections.

Filmed at the San Jose Improv in December 2024 and self-released on his YouTube channel in June 2026, the special represents Bachelor’s attempt to prove he is a real stand-up comic, a craft he has quietly practiced since 2010. Rather than leaning on the sketch characters that made him famous, he talks about the exhausting pressure of social media fame and personal relationships. While the energetic stage presence of his online videos remains, the material centers on a more grounded personal narrative, offering what he calls the funniest pain he has survived.
