Brody Stevens operates less as a traditional joke-teller and more as an aggressive audience warm-up act. He spends his half-hour slot coaching the crowd on how they should be reacting to him, demanding “positive energy,” and weaponizing his own minor acting resume. Rather than deploying standard setups, he shouts out his IMDB credits, expressly reminding the room he was in The Hangover and cut out of Funny People, expecting a round of applause for his participation in the film industry.

Filmed at the Royale in Boston in 2013 and aired the following year, the set arrived alongside his documentary series Brody Stevens: Enjoy It!, which chronicled his life and mental health. On stage, he addresses rumors about living with his mother and spends a chunk of his time earnestly hyping up the local geography. The momentum carries straight through to a closing bit where he reenacts an entire day on the set of a major Hollywood production.
