Andrew Donnelly

He is a long-time veteran of the comedy scene. He came up through the club circuit of the early 2000s, appearing on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and logging years in New York and Los Angeles. After decades in the industry, he brings that momentum to regional indie rooms and New England bar shows. He is the kind of seasoned comic who can walk into a loud basement and immediately dictate the pace of the show.

His material relies on his own neuroses. He treats his ADHD and internal frustrations as a puzzle he cannot solve. He lays out his missteps as a husband and father for the audience to inspect. The jokes run on strict mechanics, but he performs them as if he is just realizing how ridiculous he sounds in real time.

Donnelly has spent years acting in television commercials, giving him a strict ear for pacing. On stage, he takes that professional sheen and subverts it. He plays the part of a pitchman who finally gets to tell you what is actually bothering him.
