Blue-collar grievance delivered like a contractor shaking his head on break.

Ciricillo steps onto the stage with his feet planted wide, leaning in like he is about to explain why the drywall crew messed up the job. His delivery is loud, rhythmic, and rooted in exasperation. He frames bits around common sense being discontinued, tossing his hands out and asking rhetorical questions to the front row until someone nods back in agreement. Once he gets that nod, he hammers the detail, whether he is venting about building codes, marriage negotiations, or why you never get into an argument with retired people who have infinite spare time.

He carved out a lane that exists half inside traditional comedy clubs and half on the corporate trade circuit. Between weekend sets at Florida rooms like McCurdy’s and private gigs for building associations, Ciricillo stays busy outside the coastal industry bubble. It is an older model of road work that relies on steady touring rather than internet trends.

The material relies on practical friction. At its best, he turns the mundane misery of home repair and aging into shared relief, using straightforward setups that land without delay. It can run on familiar tracks, leaning into classic gripes about modern gadgets and long marriages, but he keeps the room moving by talking like a guy who genuinely cannot believe what he is dealing with.

Before he started doing standup in Cleveland in the late eighties, he worked in his family’s construction business. That trade never left the act, giving his stage persona an authentic footing.
