Casual Southern deadpan that treats personal embarrassment like an old habit.

He talks like someone who stepped outside to grab fresh air and accidentally ended up at the microphone. The pace is slow and loose. He will start a bit about a childhood misunderstanding or a bad career decision, let the premise sit there for three or four beats longer than expected, and then drop the punchline with an offhand shrug. When an audience gets quiet or hesitates, he does not scramble to pick up the tempo. He simply leans against the mic stand and smiles at them, as if their silence is part of the conversation.

He is a bedrock club comic, the kind of road act who works basement stages, black-box rooms, and regional headlining weekends. Rather than chasing quick online clips with rapid crowd insults, his longer sets are built for rooms where an audience has time to settle into an easy rhythm.

His best material comes from being comfortable as the least impressive person in any room. He will take an ordinary anxiety, like shopping for an engagement ring or trying to understand horse enthusiasts, and unpack it through the perspective of a genial underachiever. Where other comics lean into loud frustration, he underplays everything, letting the absurdity of a situation do the heavy lifting. The only time the rhythm stumbles is when he drifts toward wider pop culture topics, where the observations can feel thinner than his family stories.

Based in Raleigh after years split between North Carolina clubs and New York open mics, he brings a drawl that never leans on easy regional caricatures.
