Josh Wolf paces the stage with a grin that suggests he still cannot believe what he is about to say. He performs with the frantic energy of a guy cornering you at a barbecue to explain how a trip to IKEA ended with police involvement. Instead of tight setups, he talks until a premise spirals out of control. He strings together rambling anecdotes, often pausing to laugh at his own memories before shouting the final detail into the mic.

On stage
After years as a late-night television regular, Wolf built a massive audience online without waiting for a network. He releases his specials directly to millions of YouTube subscribers and holds down a residency at Jimmy Kimmel’s comedy club in Vegas. He frequently brings his son, Jacob, on the road as an opening act and podcast co-host, turning his actual family dynamics into a live, ongoing act.
His best work leans entirely into the mess of raising kids. He talks about his past as a single dad and his empty-nester status without filtering out the ugly details. He will describe negotiating a child’s bathroom emergency with the exact same intensity another comic might reserve for a sweeping social observation.
He occasionally breaks out a guitar for parody songs and musical interludes. The songs change the pacing of the room, slowing down the natural momentum he generates when he is just standing at center stage, visibly amused by the trouble he causes for himself.
