Cheerful enough on stage to make morbid thoughts sound perfectly reasonable.

She holds the microphone with a loose grip and a bright, polite smile, sounding like a coworker sharing mild gossip by the water cooler. Her cadence is light, almost cheerful, delivered with zero stage swagger. Then she drops a premise about the physical reality of an embalming room or the petty thrill of hating an email from someone she works with. She does not raise her volume to force a laugh. When a punchline turns macabre, she simply tilts her head, offers a small grin, and lets the room sit in the gap between how pleasant she sounds and how unhinged the thought actually is.

After building a reputation across Los Angeles alternative rooms and comedy clubs, she moved her base to New York, carving out steady spots in basement showcases and club rotations. She is often positioned as an upbeat palate cleanser between louder, grumpier comics, which only makes her turn toward darker territory land harder.

Her special Figuring It Out leans heavily into that contrast. Her sharpest bits dissect the weirdness of everyday survival, from proposing a special low car horn solely for drivers who need to apologize for a bad eight-point turn, to the casual indignities of dating. She occasionally lingers too long on straightforward observational setups before the bleak angle takes over, but when the twist hits, the cheerfulness makes the sting linger.

Growing up in Jacksonville gave her an early immunity to chaos. She talks about hurricane prep and Southern strangeness with the flat acceptance of someone who knows weird things happen outside, so you might as well smile while you describe them.
