Treats every minor daily annoyance like an escalating bar fight.

He walks the stage with an anxious bounce, holding the microphone tight against his chin like a walkie-talkie. He does not ease into a premise. He starts at full volume, eyes wide, shoulders hunched as if he just survived a hit-and-run and needs to tell the room before the police arrive. As a bit builds, he talks faster and acts out both sides of an argument, barking punchlines and then reacting to his own words with genuine disgust. If a joke makes the room hesitate, he leans in, drops his voice an octave, and asks the front row why they are pretending to be better than him.

Feeney is a fixture of the downtown club scene, running multiple spots a night beneath street level. For his half-hour special A Night at the Comedy Cellar, he filmed sets across all four rooms of the complex in one evening, moving between stages with the same hurried rhythm he brings to his jokes.

His comedy centers on ordinary annoyances: airport bars, bad driving, and awkward neighbor interactions treated like personal betrayals. The blueprint showed up clearly on his early special Rage Against the Routine. When the writing is sharp, his outrage feels earned. When a setup is thin, his sheer volume can overpower the joke, pushing through on noise where a tighter tag is needed.

Years of late-night sets gave him fast reflexes for hecklers and dropping glasses. Podcasting keeps him in front of online comedy crowds, but his natural home is still twenty feet from a brick wall, red-faced and burning through his collar.
