Through his swaggering alter ego Jack Tucker and his chaotic late-night variety showcase Stamptown, Zucker operates as a bridge between physical theater and conventional comedy clubs. He took the worst habits of bad club comics, from sleazy bravado to forced crowd work, and turned them into an absurd character study. The bit is never the hacky punchline itself, but the panic hidden behind his eyes while sound cues misfire and props collapse around him.

That instinct comes from his formal training at Philippe Gaulier’s clown school in France, where the core discipline is learning how to stay funny when a room turns cold. Before touring as a solo act, he honed that frantic, physical timing in the duo Zach & Viggo. It leaves him with an approach that treats standup not as a writing exercise, but as an endurance sport.
