Rachel Bradley approaches the stage with the confidence of someone who has already lived a few distinct lives. The former fitness and Diesel Jeans model establishes her perspective as a self-described “Alpha Chick.” She presents herself as a Southern-bred feminist who loves five-inch heels and has no intention of burning her bra.

Filmed at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood and directed by her husband and frequent collaborator Christopher Titus, the performance centers heavily on Bradley’s upbringing. She details her childhood in North Carolina, where she was raised by a Marine veteran father and a hippie mother, a pairing she describes as “Rambo and Rainbow”. Her mother, she notes, wanted peace even if she had to shoot people to get it.

Bradley targets her transition from being a top-tier beauty in the South, where her family tree includes an aunt who ate margarine like bananas, to arriving in Los Angeles for auditions. Other segments focus on dating advice handed down from older generations, including the premise that the fastest way to a man’s heart is by faking a pregnancy. Released in late 2021 and widely distributed in 2022, the hour marks Bradley’s transition from a touring opener and podcast co-host to a headliner.
