Micky Flanagan relies on a sense of exasperation, positioning himself as a working-class Londoner who has accidentally become wealthy enough to need a leaf blower just to clear the £50 notes out of his hallway.

Recorded live during a 12-night run at London’s O2 Arena in 2017, the show marked Flanagan’s return to stand-up after taking a self-imposed gap year. By this point, he was one of the UK’s highest-selling live acts, transitioning from a Billingsgate fish porter to a resident of East Dulwich with comfortable middle-class problems. The material centers on domestic life and the indignities of aging, with bits about camping, Saga holidays with his dad, and a fixation on television presenter Mary Berry. A routine about rushing to a corner shop to find a forget-to-get-the-card-card for his anniversary anchors the performance, though a harsh, extended rant about the French breaks up the otherwise cozy observational tone.
