Game Of Chance

Cash Levy

Comedy Dynamics · 2017 · 46 min

Clean stand-up centered on fast crowd banter and domestic observations.

Cash Levy treats the microphone like a kitchen counter, leaning on conversational setups and working backwards from whatever the front row throws at him. When he sticks to written material, the premises are small and concrete: people who give mundane job titles unwarranted polish, the exact timing required to shout at a surprise party, and calculating a retiree’s age by counting the bandages on his forehead.

Filmed at the Dry Bar Comedy club in Provo, Utah, and directed by Isaac Halasima, the 46-minute set arrived during the platform’s inaugural run in 2017. Levy was already an established road veteran, having spent years on late-night lineups and co-hosting the improvised podcast Cashing In with T.J. Miller.

Because the venue enforced an alcohol-free, clean-language policy, Levy relies on crowd interrogation rather than shock value. The performance leans into his improv reflexes, keeping familiar topics like coaching youth sports and marital disagreements loose.
