Godfrey turns the simple act of catching a New York City subway train into an Olympic event. He details the sprint down two flights of stairs in the wrong shoes, the negotiation with MTA booth workers behind bulletproof glass, and the bizarre satisfaction of making it onto the car to stretch in front of strangers. It is a physical set built on everyday urban frustrations.

Filmed in New York City and airing in early 2005, this half-hour caught the comic right as he was an established television presence, recognized as the commercial face of 7UP and an actor in comedies like Zoolander. He leans into broad premises, questioning the lack of Black astronauts, complaining about the hassle of programming an answering machine, and pitching the perks of working as a weatherman in Nigeria.
