That year marked a massive pop-cultural peak for Rock; in the span of a few months, he hosted the 77th Academy Awards, debuted his hit autobiographical sitcom Everybody Hates Chris, and starred in Madagascar. This 75-minute audio release captures his stage show in a format that isolates his sharp timing and the musicality of his delivery. In addition to live tracks like Drugs, Donuts and Wealth and Affirmative Action, the album inserts studio-produced parodies like Thug Radio and the recurring Tip Your Hat to Whitey segments. The record went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album at the 48th annual ceremony.
