Instead of a solo comic talking into a microphone, the show runs on engineered catastrophe: soundboards firing obnoxious gun effects over failed punchlines, deliberate technical meltdowns, and relentless physical clowning. Zach Zucker presides as Jack Tucker, a sweating, aggressive hack stand-up who can barely keep his own stage under control.

Filmed across three performances at the Montalbán Theatre during the 2026 Netflix Is A Joke festival in Los Angeles, the special brings the late-night cabaret format Zucker spent a decade refining across Edinburgh, London, and Los Angeles onto a mainstream platform. Rachel Lee Goldenberg directs, while co-creator Dylan Woodley handles rapid-fire editing that matches the frantic tempo in the room.

The lineup cycles through Zucker’s circle of Gaulier-trained clowns and variety acts, including Viggo Venn running through a high-vis vest montage, Chad Damiani mocking corporate commercials, a cameo from Neil Patrick Harris getting sprayed with beer, and a fully nude musical finale from Jordan Gray.
