Filmed live at Comedy Works in Denver, this special serves as the first installment of a two-part project titled “Them” and “They.” Showcasing Big Jay Oakerson’s mastery of crowd work, the performance eschews traditional prepared material in favor of a completely improvised, gonzo-style set. Oakerson engages directly with the audience, turning their personal lives, relationships, and quirks into a chaotic, unfiltered, and interactive comedy experience that highlights his quick wit and ability to find humor in the moment.
