Nobody gets more high-energy mileage out of severe bodily malfunction.

He hits the stage with the bouncy, full-body projection of a theater kid who wandered into a comedy club and never left. When setting up a joke about a colonoscopy or a sudden digestive crisis, he refuses to drop into whispered intimacy. Instead, he plays straight to the back row, grinning through the rough details of gut inflammation as if he were describing a rollercoaster ride. He uses wide gestures and quick volume shifts, pulling the room along until he acts out his internal organs actively revolting.

He is a long-time fixture of the Los Angeles club circuit, running showcases at the Improv and grinding out sets that travel well to weekend rooms across the country. He occupies that steady tier of working headliners who bypass mainstream tastemakers entirely, building a following through road work, independent specials, and short video clips.

His strongest material draws directly from his Crohn’s disease, diagnosed in his late teens and turned into the backbone of his standup. In specials like 45 and his solo show A Comedian’s Guide to Crohn’s, he strips medical misery of any self-pity. The writing is best when targeting the absurdities of health insurance and public restrooms. When he pivots toward standard middle-age grievances, the jokes can feel more routine, but the momentum never stalls.

That stage discipline links back to studying theater at NYU and early years working in hidden-camera television on Punk’d. The training explains why he commits so completely to physical punchlines, selling bodily humiliations with absolute conviction.
