Most audiences know Jay Chandrasekhar as the ringleader of Broken Lizard and the director behind Super Troopers, not as a club comic holding a microphone. Brown Supremacist serves as a deliberate correction to that resume, documenting his solo stage act after decades spent primarily directing ensembles and studio features.
Taped at Thalia Hall in Chicago, the set draws on his upbringing as an Indian American in suburban Illinois alongside anecdotes from his directing career. Rather than leaning purely on cult-movie nostalgia, he uses the stage time to examine cultural assumptions and his own atypical place in mainstream comedy.
The special debuted on Veeps in August 2026, coinciding with the release of Super Troopers 3.
