Long before he became one of the internet’s most ubiquitous podcasting voices, Theo Von brought his distinct, meandering logic to a tight cable showcase. Filmed at The Royale in Boston in early 2012, the performance aired as part of the inaugural season of Comedy Central’s rebranded The Half Hour. At the time, Von was actively shaking off the legacy of his MTV reality television past.
