The Problem Solver

Frances Dilorinzo works the stage like an aerobics instructor who decided jokes were easier on the knees. Instead of lingering behind the microphone stand, she throws herself into exaggerated body language and rubbery facial expressions, building punchlines out of the awkward mechanics of getting older. Her sharpest stretch comes when demonstrating how party dancing shifts over the decades from effortless cool into a desperate exercise in joint preservation.

Filmed for Dry Bar Comedy in Provo, Utah, and distributed widely in 2018 through Comedy Dynamics, the 40-minute set catches Dilorinzo operating squarely within her comfort zone as a corporate and club headliner. Years after finding early viral internet traction with prop-driven humor, she relies on that same animated physicality to anchor clean stage material.

Between physical demonstrations, the set turns on familiar domestic irritations: automated conveniences that require extra work, the logistics of keeping a marriage romantic while raising kids, and the oddities of flying through small regional airports.
