Joe Pasquale followed up his million-selling debut with a 1997 VHS release that wore its absurdity on its sleeve. The packaging for Twin Squeaks carried a straightforward disclaimer: “Warning: This video contains material that is completely stupid”.

Released by Video Collection International, the set captures material from Pasquale’s dual-persona tour. He leans heavily into the visual gags and trademark high-pitched delivery that built his reputation at UK holiday camps and on the talent show New Faces. The performance serves as a time capsule of nineties British variety-circuit comedy, trading narrative structure for pure physical nonsense.
