Dude…Seriously?

Keith Barany approaches clean stand-up like an impatient New Yorker who agreed to keep his language PG without softening his worldview. He gets his best traction out of mundane friction, like attempting to explain vegetarianism to hunters or trying to survive Manhattan traffic where road etiquette is treated as a sign of weakness.

Recorded at the Dry Bar Comedy club in Provo, Utah, the 38-minute performance arrived after Barany had spent more than two decades headlining clubs across the country and writing for television shows like Seinfeld. He targets state troopers who ask useless questions at traffic stops, questions why people say “no worries” when there is plenty of reason to worry, and mocks the purple prose used in wine reviews.
